The 1st Flush is the picking of the brand new two leaves and a bud in the earliest spring growth of the Camellia Sinensis tea plant. The first flush tea usually contains more nutrients, antioxidants and caffeine than subsequent flushes, which lends to the distinctly sweet and spiced undertone.
INGREDIENTS: Darjeeling black tea.
STEEPING INSTRUCTIONS: Use 1-2 tsp of tea to 1 cup boiling water, 200°-212°. Let steep for 3-5 minutes. For stronger tea, use more leaves.
